How do I order?
Our gift catalogue is easy to navigate for you to find the perfect gift for any person or any occasion. You can browse by occasion type i.e.: Birthday or Wedding, person type i.e.: Mum, Dad or girlfriend, interest type i.e.: Adrenalin Junkie or Book Worm, or simply browse at your leisure through our fantastic range of gift ideas. Once you have filled up your shopping basket, simply follow the simple and secure steps to checkout.

Will I receive confirmation of my order?
When you place an order you will receive order confirmation on-screen immediately. We will also send you an order confirmation email with all of your order details. We will also send a confirmation of payment email separately. We are not able to provide this information if the order has been taken over the phone and an email address has not been provided.

Who do I contact if I have a query relating to my order?

Can I place an order from outside the UK?
Yes, orders can be taken from anywhere in the world provided you are paying by one of our accepted methods of payment in UK Sterling AND you are able to provide full postcode details of the delivery address. If you're ordering from overseas for a UK delivery, please contact ususing this form or phone us on +44(0) 8700544000

Can I order goods for delivery overseas?
Overseas delivery is not available as standard, however it is available on some products for a surcharge. Contact our Customer Care team and a member of our team will help you place your order.

How do I cancel an order?
If you have to cancel an order due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact our Customer Care team. Cancellations can only be accepted if received at least 48 hours before the requested delivery day for mainland addresses (72 hours for N.I, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man).

NO QUIBBLE RETURNS!!
Because we are just SO NICE, if you're not completely satisfied with any of the goods you have ordered from thedoghouse.co.uk for any reason, or if on the off chance you have received a lemon (i.e.: damaged or defective goods) we’ll let you return them.

If you wish to return your gift, you must notify thedoghouse.co.uk via email within 10 days of receipt of your gift*. The cost of your gift will be refunded to the credit/debit card used to make the purchase once the supplier has received the returned product. Please note refunds take 5 working days to clear from the point of processing. This does not affect your statutory rights.

When returning goods they must be sent back in their original condition and packaging (if any) with all warranty cards, licences, manuals and accessories. You must use recorded delivery - neither thedoghouse.co.uk nor the supplier can be held responsible for returned items that go missing in the post.

STEP 1 Fill out the returns slip which is included in each gift that is delivered by Thedoghouse.co.uk and send this to the returns delivery address stated on this slip along with the items(s) to be returned.

STEP 2 Send an email to customer care or call us with all the information you have written on the returns slip. Please also include the recorded delivery track and trace number for returned gifts

Thedoghouse.co.uk will then track your return with the supplier and inform you once the refund has been processed. Please note that failure to provide the correct information or failure to email thedoghouse.co.uk will result in your request not being processed.

* Unfortunately we are not able to accept returns for consumer perishables such as food and drink products, flowers and personalised gifts. In addition, we are unable to accept returns for personal items such as earrings or toiletries unless they are unopened and in their original packing. Goods must be returned in the condition received. The customer will be given a full refund of the price that has been paid for the goods. Any delivery or gift-wrapping charges will not be refunded.

Terms & Conditions

All transactions and relationships entered into via www.thedoghouse.co.uk are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

  1. Modifications to terms

    Thedoghouse.co.uk Ltd reserves the right to modify the Terms from time to time. We will keep the customer informed of these changes by posting a notification on the website Member's Homepage. The customer's sole recourse will be to discontinue use of the website. Continued use of the website indicates the customer's understanding and acceptance of the modified Terms.

  2. Contract Formation and Governing Law

    No contract will exist between the doghouse.co.uk Ltd and the customer until and unless the doghouse.co.uk Ltd, or one of its gift suppliers, despatches the customer's gift. Acceptance will be deemed complete and effectively communicated at this time. Ownership of the goods will pass to the customer on receipt of payment and despatch of the goods from the doghouse.co.uk Ltd gift supplier. Any and all contracts formed will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The doghouse.co.uk Ltd and the customer irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

  3. Geographical Coverage

    Several of the doghouse.co.uk Ltd gift suppliers do deliver outside of the UK. To check delivery details please contact our Customer Care. You acknowledge that the customer care team has access to data relating to your orders and that it can disclose such data after conducting the necessary identity checks. To check that we have carried out your instructions correctly and in the interests of quality control, we may monitor and record telephone calls to our contact centre.

  4. Legal disclaimer

    The services and all information, products and other content included in, or accessible from, this web site, are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and are subject to change at any time without notice to you. Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and colour matching are accurate. However, all measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow.

  5. Price Adjustments

    The price for gifts will be as stipulated at the time which the customer places the order. The doghouse.co.uk Ltd is entitled to make adjustments to the price to take into account any increase in suppliers' prices, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods on the website is wrong, the doghouse.co.uk Ltd will inform the customer of the correct price before a contract has been entered into. If a contract has been entered into or the goods have already been delivered, the doghouse.co.uk Ltd agree to supply the goods at the published price. All prices on the doghouse.co.uk Ltd website are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery and insurance charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing the order.

  6. Claims Limitation

    Delivery dates are not guaranteed, and where delivery dates are given they are without liability, although the doghouse.co.uk Ltd will endeavour to ensure that delivery dates and requirements are met wherever possible. If a specific delivery date has not been requested the order will be fulfilled within 30 days.

    If you receive an item from us which is faulty, which you did not order or for any other reason which falls under our liability, please contact our Customer Care team by email to inform us and we will arrange a refund or replacement. In the event of you returning goods to us we will also pay any reasonable costs in returning the goods. The doghouse.co.uk Ltd Customer Care department will issue the customer with a Returns Authorisation number and notify them of the returns procedure. This does not affect your statutory rights.

  7. Returns Procedure

    You have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased through our website with or without reason, under the distance selling regulations for refund. This does not apply to any perishable goods, unsealed software or item personalised or made to your specification. To cancel any item, you can e-mail or write to us within 10 working days of the day following delivery of your order being made, quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the item, retain all original packaging and must not use them. Items may be returned to our Customer Care department. Any costs incurred in returning the item are the responsibility of the customer. We will refund within 30 days of your cancellation. A full refund will be given for items returned to us within this period; items not returned will have the direct cost of retrieving the item(s) deducted from the refund value.

  8. Sale of alcoholic beverages

    Any customer purchasing goods containing alcohol must be 18 years of age or older at the time the order is placed, as must the intended recipient.

  9. Customer Service and Support

    The customer is able to seek advice and support from the doghouse.co.uk Ltd Customer Care team. Specific customer service enquiries will be dealt with in normal office hours, 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

  10. Complaint Handling

    If you are not satisfied with the service provided by the doghouse.co.uk Ltd your complaint should be sent using this form or Customer Care Co-ordinator, The Doghouse.co.uk Limited, Unit 24, North orbital commercial Park, Napsbury lane, St Albans, AL1 1XB. Any complaint will be investigated and you will receive a response within 5 working days of receipt.

    If you still feel that your complaint has not been fully resolved, you can write to the Customer Care Manager at the above address, from whom you will receive a response within 15 working days from receipt.

  11. Advertisers

    The customer's correspondence or business dealings with, participation in promotions of advertisers or sponsors found on or through the, the doghouse.co.uk Ltd website, including delivery of advertisers goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between the customer and such advertiser(s) or sponsor(s). Subject to the customer information in the website Help sections, the customer agrees that the doghouse.co.uk Ltd shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings, or as the result of the presence of such advertisers or sponsors on thedoghouse.co.uk Ltd website.
