How does the reminder service work?

You enter all your important dates and select how and when you need reminding of them (SMS, email or both!). We'll make sure we send you reminders on time and with the best gift suggestions in town! See below for instructions on creating new reminders.

How do I create new reminders?

We've made it as easy as possible for you to create new reminders at thedoghouse.co.uk. First, log into Your Doghouse Account on Fetch's homepage, then either...

1: Click 'My Reminders' on the tab at the top of the page. You will be presented with a list of any current or generic reminders that you have entered. Click 'ADD' on the left hand side of the page. Then choose from one of two entry options to add a new reminder: either summary or detail.

OR

2: Click 'My Contacts' on the tab at the top of the page. You will be presented with a list of your contacts and all the reminders you have entered that are associated with those people. By clicking a particular contact, you are then able to add as many new reminders as you like in the same way as detailed above.

Just fill in all the required fields, then sit back, and relax!

Can I edit reminders/contacts or change when reminders are sent to me?

To edit or delete reminders, click 'My Reminders', choose the particular reminder you wish to change. You will then be given an option to edit or delete any profiling details for this reminder. You also have the option to change when your sms/email reminders are sent to you for a particular occasion or, to which email address or phone number you want your reminders sent.

You can also edit or delete the details of any contact in the 'My Contacts' section. Choose the contact you wish to change from your 'My Contacts' list and follow the prompts to edit or delete any information.

There are two ways to find the perfect gift:

• Let us do the thinking for you by purchasing one of our personally profiled gifts for any loved one or special occasion that we suggest for you in your reminder!
• Browse our gift catalogue by occasion, interest type, budget, or category type (for him, for her, for couples, for kids, for babies etc.) - giving you the easiest and quickest way to find the right gift, for the right person, at the right price. We've done most of the thinking for you so why not take advantage of it!

Why should I profile my contacts?

Profiling your contacts in the 'My Contacts' section gives us the information we need to send you the best gift suggestions for each of your loved ones! By telling us what they're into and how much you would like to spend on them, we can do all the work for you, so when it comes time to decide...we make it as easy as possible! And...you only need to profile your contacts once, but can change their details whenever you like!

To create a profile or to change an existing one, click 'My Contacts' and create/edit their profile accordingly.

What is a personal profile?

www.thedoghouse.co.uk has ALL BASES COVERED through our personal profiling and gift suggestion service! We've invested extensive time, energy and resources to come up with a fun and easy way to give you the best and most suitable gift suggestions for your friends and loved ones! By personally profiling all your contacts, you work with us to find the perfect gift for that special someone, so you look like the hero every time!

How long does profiling take?

At www.thedoghouse.co.uk, we know that sometimes you don't have the time you would like to have to profile your loved ones extensively. So we've given you a summary and detailed entry option to best suit your movements and timeframes. If you're in a rush then use the Summary option to profile your contacts, then return to the Detail view later to tell us a little more about them so we can work together to find you the most suitable gifts. Remember, the more information you give us, the more help we can be!

Recycling of Electronic and Electrical equipment

From 1 July 2007, the UK’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations will allow members of the public to deposit old electrical and electronic items at recycling sites across the UK, free of charge.
